Private: Fundamentals of Watercolor with Miss Meaghan (Grade: any)
Lessons are held in 30-, 45-, or 60-minute increments.<br>Cost:<br>30 minute lesson: $25<br>45 minute lesson: $35<br>60 minute lesson: $45<br><br>You will choose the exact date/time of your lesson with the teacher after you process the purchase.<br><br>a class playing with watercolor, learning the basics, and getting comfortable. We’ll learn different techniques (like wet on wet and wet on dry), brushstrokes, and more while making fun artwork you can be proud of. Using our growing knowledge of watercolor supplies, we’ll learn to put these supplies to use, mix colors, make puddles, learn a bit of color theory with complementary colors, use chaos and order to create a piece all our own, use lights and darks in an order that helps us achieve a closer image to our desired result, lift paint, maintain white space, create shadows, learn brush technique, and more.<br><br>Approximate grade level: All beginning watercolorists, including adults.
One-on-One: Developing Writing Through Grammar with Miss Meaghan
Lessons are held in 30-, 45-, or 60-minute increments.<br><br>Cost:<br>30 minute lesson: $25<br>45 minute lesson: $35<br>60 minute lesson: $45<br><br>You will choose the exact date/time of your lesson with the teacher after you process the purchase.<br><br>Level 1-2 Topics Include: Nouns, Articles, Adjectives, Verbs, Adverbs, Prepositions, Pronouns, Conjunctions, Interjections, <br>Level 3 Topics Include: Sentence/Fragment, Sentence Types, Run-Ons, Paragraphs, Topic/Conclusion, Pre-write/Draft, Revise, Edit/Proofread, Publish<br><br>a class dissecting language to better understand its use and logic. We’ll learn about parts of speech and their relationships to one another, or about sentence forms and the writing process, and connect our knowledge with writing.<br><br>*This class mirrors the one offered for in-person curriculum day at SBC in Fall 2025.*
