One on One: Taxonomy and Classification with Miss Meaghan

Take a deep dive into how we sort life, the categories and naming systems we use, what makes something living and nonliving, and how these classifications help us understand these life forms even more.<br><br>This class mirrors the one offered by SBC in person in the spring of 2025.

One on One: Timeline of Life: Sketching the Story of Evolution with Miss Meaghan

Let's dive into each period, study the differences between them, learn about how different types of life came to be, learn what makes an eon and an era different, and so much more.<br><br>This class mirrors the one offered by SBC in person in the winter of 2025.

Private Consultations: The Montessori Method with Miss Meaghan (Adults)

Lessons are held in 30-minute increments.<br><br>Cost:<br>30 minute consultation: $30<br><br>You will choose the exact date/time of your consultation with the teacher after you process the purchase.<br><br>For example, if you choose to focus on Montessori literacy, a consultation might include: phonemic awareness and understanding, writing, and reading, in either print or cursive, using the Montessori reading curriculum. From learning letter sounds and auditory-only sound games through letterforms, sounding out to begin writing, blending out to begin reading, and beyond, you can learn to support your child’s English literacy journey.<br><br>This class is recommended for ADULTS who want to guide a child using the Montessori Method in their home. This class is NOT intended for children.

One on One: The Map Game: Where Physical Geography meets Science with Miss Meaghan

Lessons are held in 30-, 45-, or 60-minute increments.<br>Cost:<br>30 minute lesson: $25<br>45 minute lesson: $35<br>60 minute lesson: $45<br><br>You will choose the exact date/time of your lesson with the teacher after you process the purchase.<br><br>How do you implement your knowledge of geography while at the same time incorporating the study of civilizations, ecology, and climate? We will learn all about science as it related to geography, learn to create a legend and grid system, and so much more. Topics vary by age and level. <br><br>This class mirrors the one taught at SBC in person in Fall 2025.
