• Payment, Class Length, and Scheduling Time

Whether it's a single class or a class package, payment must be received before scheduling a class. Payment will occur through our website store above, and payment is pricessed through Stripe, our payment gateway.

Classes are 30 minutes long unless otherwise noted on the class description above.

Including days off, as marked in each class' description, a standard season should include 10+ weeks. Teachers can elect to pre-select days off, or leave the extra weeks as open-ended reschedules for sick days, power outages, or other uncontrollable circumstances.

All listed class times are in Eastern Standard Time.

    Lateness, No-Shows, and Cancellations

Student Lateness: The teacher will remain in the class for the full class time. If the student is late, only the remaining time will be used to teach.

Teacher Lateness: Teacher lateness is extremely rare and teacher no-shows almost never occur. If the teacher is late by 5 minutes or less, the class will be extended to accommodate that time. If the teacher is late after 5 minutes or misses the class, the class will be rescheduled at no cost to you. If this continues to occue, after 3 incidences, the teacher will credit you with an additional free class.

Cancellation of a 1 on 1 class should be made no later than 24 hours before the start of the class. Short notice (less than 24 hours' notice) will be deducted from your purchase as usual. Special consideration may be given for emergencies or other unavoidable circumstances and will be granted at the instructor's discretion. Refunds will not be issued for classes that the student schedules but does not attend; these classes will be marked as a "Student No Show."

    IT Problems and Technical Issues

If an IT issue occurs, we will attempt to resolve it quickly.

For a one-on-one class, if we can't resolve it, it can be rescheduled for a different day/time at no charge. If IT issues continue to occur frequently, the class will not be rescheduled, but we will continue to attempt to resolve it. In this case, we recommend that students attend class near the router, plug it in, exit and re-enter class, try a different device, restart their device, etc.

For a group class, if the entire student group is affected and the IT issues cannot be resolved, it can be rescheduled for a different day/time at no charge. If only one student is affected, the IT issue is on the student's end, the class will not be rescheduled, but you can continue to attempt to resolve it.

Please ensure that your internet connection is strong and reliable, so as not to interrupt the flow of learning, especially in group lessons.

    For Classes Held On ClassIn

Students can enter the online classroom no more than 10 minutes in advance and can stay no later than when the classroom is closed by the teacher at the end of the scheduled class time.

You'll also have access to a class recording after each class, to re-watch as many times as you wish, and to continue learning even after class ends. Playback will be available 30 minutes after the end of the lesson. Class recordings will only be viewable for a duration of 3 months after each class is held.

Other platforms may be used, at the teacher's discretion, such as Muzie or Zoom.
