Group Piano 101 with Miss Erika (Grades 2-5)

A fun and engaging class where we explore the fundamental skills to play the piano. We will begin with an introduction to the piano, identifying and labeling patterns, right and left hand, white and black keys, posture, and basic rhythm. We will then move into reading the first music notes on the white keys and playing music that uses these keys.
Level A: 5:45-6:15; No experience needed
Level B: 5:15-5:45; Pre-requisite ability to read basic rhythm (quarter notes, half notes, whole notes, quarter rests, half rests, whole rests). Ability read on the grand staff (Treble and Bass Clef) Treble: Notes Middle C (C4)- Middle G (G4) Bass: C3 to C4
- Ability to work, virtually, in a small group experience, independently.
- Parental support welcome for those who need assistance to work virtually and/or in a small group.
